Removal of stains and dirt - Cast iron
Cast iron pots corrode quickly and a rough deposit appears on their inner walls - the so-called. boiler stone. Everything takes longer to cook in such pots, but the sediment does not spoil the taste of the water.
A corroded pot should be filled with cold water, add approx. 1/4 glasses (60 ml) water softener and heat it up slowly, bringing the solution to a boil. Remove from fire, leave to cool and dispose of.
Scrape the pot with a nylon brush; rinse several times. If the pot was run down, the process must be repeated.
