In today's tip, we'll try to present a simple way to remove scratches from watch glass lenses.. This is a fairly common problem, which occurs after long-term use or as a result of unintentional situations / damage. Will be needed: komplet szmatek, paste for polishing metal surfacesor diamond paste.
How to go about it?
Dip a piece of cloth in the paste and rub the watch glass with it. This activity should last from 5 do 10 minutes.
Finally, we polish, preferably using a new cloth / cloths.
We leave the watch for a few hours and wipe the surface of the glass with a damp cloth.
In the first phase of polishing, it is best to use a polishing cloth for photographic lenses. For sapphire glass, diamond paste is the best option. However, it must be noted, that it is effective on superficial features. Very deep scratches will probably remain.
